Nature and history are ever-present in many cities, says MetroWild author Yang-May Ooi. We just need to learn how and where to look. Walk with her down a secret passageway in the beautiful city of Luebeck in Germany to find a hidden oasis where the pawprints of medieval dogs are frozen in time.

My aim is to mix things up here at MetroWild with written features, audio podcasts, photo essays – and video stories. Here is a jaunty little videoblog, the first of many to come.
