I first noticed Stephen Ring’s art on the walls of the various holiday apartments we’ve stayed in over the few years we’ve been coming down to Westward Ho! They often depicted North Devon seascapes which I recognised from walking and exploring the local coastline. I loved his dramatic waves,  rugged rocks or vast expanses of glistening beach. I could not tell if these images were paintings or photographs – which made them even more intriguing.

So of course I had to find out more about Stephen and his creative process…

I’m super delighted that he agreed to share his story on the Creative Conversations podcast – and also his  top tips for making it as a photographer…
